Craig Goch Reservoir
The Craig Goch Dam is the masonry dam in the Elan Valley and was completed in 1904.
Its primary purpose is to supply Birmingham with water. In 1997, a 480 kW hydroelectric generator began operation at the dam.
The dam is at a height of 317 meters (1040 ft) above sea level and is seen by many as the most attractive of the dams within the Elan Valley.
